Florida voters must request a vote-by-mail ballot for the November 3, 2026, election rather than receiving one automatically. In Broward County, requests must reach the Supervisor of Elections by 5 p.m. on the 12th day before an election, and returned ballots must arrive or be placed in a secure ballot intake station by 7 p.m. on Election Day. The Miami Herald reports that the corresponding request deadline for Miami-Dade, Broward and Monroe county voters is October 22.
